Messy Mice – more than just mess

 

Messy Mice is an exciting art club for young children in Warwickshire. Children attend weekly educational art classes along with a parent or carer, enjoying the freedom of making a mess while enhancing their learning and development.

Classes

Messy Mice art classes are for young children from birth to school age. Each weekly class is fun and interactive. The classes involve a variety of activities to include:
• messy play
• glueing
• painting
• sensory play (e.g. water, jelly, soil)
• singing
• socialising

Parents and carers get to spend quality time with their children while watching them grow and develop.

Messy Mice is not a playgroup or toddler group. Parents and carers are expected to supervise and interact with their children at all times. Our classes are carefully planned so that they are age appropriate and encourage young children to explore, create and experiment with a variety of materials.

Classes are 45 minutes of jam-packed fun and your child will usually take home two pieces of artwork each week.

Mess
Messy Mice see mess as good. Allowing children the freedom to express without the worry of making a mess is a wonderful thing.

With Messy Mice you no longer have to worry about getting paint on the settee or glue on the carpet. The mess is on us. We do all the cleaning up so you can both just relax and enjoy yourselves.

Aprons are not provided but can be purchased from us (while stocks last) for £5 (half price when pre-paying for the term). Alternatively you may bring your own apron. Please dress your child (and yourself) sensibly – despite aprons, they will probably get a bit wet or messy during the class.
